There has been a very different Christmas in St Twynnells village this year, along with the whole of the country - summed up by a special nativity scene!
“With the church temporarily closed since the end of march due to the Covid crisis, we were wondering how to cheer up the village this Christmas and also to celebrate the birth of Christ,” said Edward Morris.
“Our church warden Mrs. Gloria Stenson had the imagination and drive to create a nativity scene in the bus shelter which fortunately is right beside the churchyard!
“Gloria’s son Matthew, who has considerable artistic talents, set about creating something special.
“The bus driver must have had quite a surprise when he passed the bus shelter the next day to see Mary and Joseph standing there!
“We also have a cross lit up on the church tower again thanks to Mr. Christoper Ball,” he added.
