Among planning applications considered by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park's development management committee on Wednesday were the following:

20 Scandinavia Heights, Saundersfoot - extension, increase off-road parking and small decked area (approved).

Kiln House Lane, Jameston - variation of condition 1 of NP/08/079 to allow erection of fence and gates approved by Welsh Water (refused).

Plot 3, The Paddock, off Haytor Gardens, Tenby - dwelling and garage (approved with a condition to seek a reduction in the over-all size of the building and to retain a turning area).

1 St. Davids Close, Tenby - retrospective extension to existing fence (amended plans had been received since the committee report was written. The plans proposed that the stone wall that fronts the road should stay, but the fence should be moved back further into the garden to make way for planting to soften the visual impact of the fence. The fence should also be reduced in height so that it is no more than five-foot six-inches. This amended plan was approved).

Fairwinds, Landshipping - conservatory (approved).

Fountains Cafe, Battery Road, Tenby - removal of condition 12 of NP/08/120 to allow full residential use (discussions were still ongoing, and the application was deferred for another month to allow further discussions to take place).
