The chairman and vice-chairman of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority have been re-elected at the organisation's annual general meeting on Wednesday, June 23.

Richard Howells remains as chairman, whilst Clr. Tony Brinsden continues as vice-chairman for the next year.

Welsh Assembly Government appointed Richard Howells said: "It's been a huge privilege serving as chairman through a year of many changes in the authority, and my thanks go to the new chief executive, Tegryn Jones, and staff for their dedication and support.

"The authority will be facing challenges in the years ahead, particularly in the current economic situation, and we will need to ensure the authority continues to respond to change as the need arises."

The chairmen of the Park Authority's committees were also elected as follows: Chairman and vice-chairman of development management committee - Clr. Michael Williams and Clr. Simon Hancock; chairman and vice-chairman of performance review committee - Clr. Mike Evans and Christine Gwyther; chairman and vice-chairman of personnel committee - David Ellis and Clr. Mike James.
