Playing to a home crowd is never easy. Playing to a home crowd after an enforced 18 months away must be something of a nightmare, but Jodie Marie had a packed Queen’s Hall, Narberth, eating from the palm of her hand on Friday night.

Performing her latest album, The Answer, in its entirety, plus a few favourites with her band it was a night of beautifully played live music which started off with a too-short set from the wonderful Bella Collins.

The sign of a true star, Jodie was happy to chat to fans, signing autographs and posing for photos long after the gig was over. If you get the chance to catch her next gig make sure you don’t miss it.
