Road safety issues in and around Narberth have been an agenda topic for local councillors at their recent meeting.
Raising issues, Cllr Chris Walters drew members’ attention to a number of vehicles recently being driven in the wrong direction on the one-way system from the Farmers Arms, to which Cllr Barnes agreed and said she had witnessed vehicles being driven the wrong way from the Kirkland Arms.
It was resolved that the Town Council write to Pembrokeshire County Council’s Highways Department requesting an assessment of road markings and signage in Spring Gardens.
Local county councillor Marc Tierney said that he intended to hold another road safety meeting in the Queen’s Hall, adding that he would be getting in touch with interested parties.
