A number of organisations in Narberth are to benefit from financial grants awarded by the town council.
At their monthly meeting on Tuesday night, members agreed to donate £350 to the town's Wilson Museum to purchase a new showcase and £300 to the Narberth in Bloom committee.
Grants of £150 are also to be made to the Narberth Rugby Football Club Junior Section, the Winter Carnival, Civic Week and the Cricket Club.
In addition, Whitland and District ATC and the Welsh Air Ambulance Appeal are to receive gifts of £100 each.
A sum of £100 will also be given to the St. David's City Council Eisteddfod 2002 Appeal.
Further donations of £1,500 each for Bloomfield and the Queen's Hall, plus £250 for the Friends of Narberth Swimming Pool, which have already been precepted for, will also be made.
