Congratulations to Kilgetty RAOB A who became A League champions last week after their 7-2 win at the Hean. However, it's still down to the last match between the Dingle and Dragon A, as to who picks up runners-up spot after the Dragon gained a good home win over the SSSC A, while the Dingle were on form as they whitewashed the Lawrenny Sports away.
Meanwhile, just below them, the Station House A had to take all the doubles to get the result of a resilient Bush Robeston. The Greenbridge A picked up a hard fought win at the Jeffreyston A, while the RAOB A won at Cresselly, while the Stanley B are hanging on by the skin of their teeth to stay in the top flight as they beat the Temple Bar A.
The B League is down to the wire after Whitland Dairies beat the SSSC B 6-3, RAOB B recorded a 7-2 win over the SSSC and the Iron Duke won at the KSSC by the odd frame. And as the top two teams meet each other in the last week, the Iron Duke need to win to have any chance of pinching second spot.
Other results saw Kilgetty RAOB B back to winning ways after a couple of recent defeats, beating the Angel Llan, while the Eagle were still celebrating the next day as they pulled off a 9-0 win over the Jeff B, who sadly only picked up one more frame in a re-arranged match on Sunday against the Angel Llan. The Cross Clarbeston are finishing strong after their win at the Temple Bar B, while the Wisemans Bridge picked up the points at the Bush Llan.
After already winning the C League last week, the White Horse condemned the Whitland Bowls to third place after a 6-3 win. Leaving the Station House B to take second place after their local win against the Taf.
It was a good night for the Alpha B as they scored heavily against the Sporting Chance and then went on to beat their A team by 6-3, after they themselves had won at the RFC (late night I heard). Other results saw the White Horse B just scrape through on the last frame against the Dragon B, and there were also 5-4 wins for the Stanley A over the Cross Broadmoor and Greenbridge B over Begelly Arms.

NB: This Sunday sees the semi-finals of the Team Knockout taking place: Dingle v Dragon A (at the Alpha) and Kilgetty RAOB A v Station House A (at Narberth RAOB).
Any matches that have not been re-arranged to be played before the last Thursday will end up in a 4-4 draw if I have had no contact from either teams, or a 9-0 if a team has been trying to play the match and has not heard back from the other team.
