Kilgetty RAOB A remain clear top after their 6-3 win over Narberth RAOB A and with the Dingle match postponed, the Dragon A moved back into second spot, but only just, as after going 4-1 up they just won on the last doubles against an unlucky Temple Bar A. Still making steady progress up the league and still with a good chance of getting close to the top are the Station House A, who secured a big 8-1 over Cresselly.
The Greenbridge A lost out on their push for the top after losing to the Bush Robeston, while the bottom two both went down at home by 7-2, the Hean against Lawrenny Sports and Stanley B at the hands of Jeffreyston A.
The B League sees the youngsters of the Narberth RAOB B still holding on to the top spot after beating the in-form Cross Clarby, Whitland Dairies moved back to second spot after a no-nonsense win at the SSSC C, while the Iron Duke moved back into contention with an away win at the Wisemans.
Kilgetty RAOB B slipped up after a tough match against the unpredictable Temple Bar B. The other results saw the SSSC B score a good away win at the Bush Llan, while the Eagle secured the last two doubles to take the match against the KSSC.
There was a bad night for a couple of chasing teams in the C League as the Whitland Bowls lost heavily at home to the much-improved Alpha B and the Alpha A also lost at home to a team on a good run, the Sporting Chance.
Meaning the White Horse A remain clear top after a big win over the Dragon B and the Station House B just crept back to second spot, but only just after beating bottom-placed Begelly Arms. There were much-needed wins for the RFC, who took the match against the Stanley A after going 3-0 down, while the Cross Broadmoor took surprise points off the Taf. The White Horse B made it a good night for the pub as they won at the Greenbridge B.
