The second half of the season got underway last week and it was a good night for the away teams, seeing Kilgetty RAOB A still top after their win at the Stanley B, while the Dragon A won well at the Hean. The Greenbridge A, although they only beat Lawrenny by one frame, actually won the match in the singles. And the Dingle moved into fourth spot after a trip to Narberth RAOB A (hopefully the re-arranged match between the two teams will be sorted soon). Temple Bar A made hard work of Cresselly needing the last two frames to take the match after being 3-0 up. While the Bush Robeston gained a good away victory at the Jeff A. Only team to win at home were the Station House A, who won a last frame match against the SSSC A.
The big match in the B League saw the Iron Duke take the points against Whitland Dairies by taking the last two doubles, meaning that the RAOB B take over at the top after their win at the Bush Llan. The Angel Llan also had a close win at SSSC B, leaving it late to take the match, while the Wisemans Bridge made the trip to Temple Bar B with five players and came back with a win. The other result saw the Eagle gain a win at home to the SSSC C. The match between KSSC and Cross Clarbeston was cancelled because of a 'waterlogged pitch' (frozen pipes).
The C League saw leaders White Horse A notch up a big win at the Cross Broadmoor, and their B team did just as well at home to the Stanley A. Whitland Bowls picked up a big win against a weakened RFC side, and the Alpha A scored big at the Greenbridge B, who didn't quite pull off the result that they did over Christmas when they beat the White Horse A. The Taf stay amongst the top teams after beating bottom team Begelly Arms. The other match saw the off form Dragon B lose at home to the Sporting Chance.
