Kilgetty RAOB A go top of the A League after their very good away win at the Jeffreyston A, while Temple Bar A are also up there after the long but worthwhile trip down to Lawrenny Sports. The Bush Robeston got off the mark with a win at Cresselly, while the Dingle started their season by beating the Greenbridge A. The big result of the night, however, came at the Station House A, where the home team looked in command at 4-0 over the Hean. Then, whether the Hean played well or the home team threw it away, it ended up in a win for the Saundersfoot team.

The B League saw the Cross Clarbeston fail to raise a side to play SSSC B, and are now on a first warning. Understandably I'm a bit concerned as to how early on in the season this has happened (please sort it out).

Anyway there was a big match at the Duke this week when the home team just managed to take the points against an unlucky RAOB B. While the Jeffreyston B made it two wins in a row after a trip to KSSC. Biggest win of the night saw Kilgetty RAOB A notch up an 8-1 over the Wisemans, while the Bush Llan forgot about their defeat the week before and won tidily at the Eagle. SSSC C did well with three ladies to beat Temple Bar B, while the Whitland Dairies secured a win at home to the Angel Llan.

The C League saw the White Horse B team make it two 8-1's on the trot, this time against Begelly Arms, while the White Horse A team once again just managed to win on the last frame at the Taf. The other Whitland teams also made it two in a row after the Station House B scored big at the Sporting Chance, while the Bowls made hard word of their match at Greenbridge B. The teams at the Alpha had a mixed night, with the A team just losing out at the Cross Broadmoor, while the B team beat the Stanley Arms A.

Teams are reminded that the first round of the Team Knockout takes place this Sunday. The draw is as follows: SSSC A v Alpha B; Tav v Angel Llan; Stanley A v SSSC B; Hean v Eagle; Dragon B v Whitland Bowls; Whitland Dairies v Cross Broadmoor; Station House A v Jeff A; Kilgetty RAOB A v KSSC; Temple Bar B v SSSC C. The other 22 teams have byes.
