WINNER of the Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland's young musician competition, Nia Bell, recently entertained members, their wives and other guests by giving a short concert on two of the many instruments that she plays.

A pupil at Preseli School, Nia, who represented the club in the zone final competition of Rotary's district competition, played the tenor saxophone and the clarinet.

She was thanked by past president, Neil Jackson, who praised her for her excellent command of her instruments.

After a 'gap' year, Nia is hoping to take a degree in engineering.
