The most senior judge in South West Wales has been updated in the case against a man accused of murdering a Saundersfoot woman.

Arthur Pitt-Pladdy, aged 36, is charged with stabbing to death Kim Butler at her home in Pennant Avenue, Saundersfoot, last August.

Barristers representing the prosecution and Pitt-Pladdy informed Judge John Diehl, the Recorder of Swansea, of the progress made prior to trial.

Pitt-Pladdy, of no fixed address, remains in custody and will be asked to enter a plea at a later date.
