Chairman of the Pembrokeshire branch of the Normandy Veterans Association, Mr. Gordon Prime, recently led a moving visit to Normandy with the county's Royal Welch Fusiliers Association. During the five-day excursion, the group toured cemeteries and battlegrounds, as well as visiting the Royal Welch Fusiliers War Memorial in Evrecy, and a cafe near Bayeux, owned by a Frenchman and dedicated to the British veterans. The party (pictured) presented a signed Welsh flag to the gentleman, as a memento of their visit.
