A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a road traffic collision in South Pembrokeshire on Sunday morning.

Forty-year-old Joe James sustained fatal injuries when his Kawasaki motorcycle was in collision with a Land Rover at approximately 6.30 am on the A477 at Nash Fingerpost.

Mr. James was of Trimsaran, Kidwelly.

The driver of the Land Rover was not seriously injured.

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the accident, but re-opened at approximately 12.45 pm.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or who may have been in the vicinity at the time to contact Dyfed Powys Police on 101.
