Town councillors are looking into whether 'mother and toddler' parking bay facilities can be reintroduced on the ground floor at Tenby's multi- storey car park.
Clr. Mrs. Maureen Ward told her colleagues at Wednesday's meeting of the town council that she had been approached with a request for the bays from a parent who found it hard to struggle down the stairs from the second floor.
Councillors agreed to write to Pembrokeshire County Council asking them to look into the request.
Whilst on the subject of the multi-storey, Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter felt that the stairwell was in need of a spot of sprucing up and cleaning as it had become "disgusting".
Clr. Mike Evans suggested that they write to Mr. Geoff Sutton of the county council to see if he could supply a cleaning schedule for the facility.
