Another free site safety training course is taking place at Launch Learning, a new community project based in Monkton.

The next CCNSG site safety course (Client Contractor National Safety Group) will take place at the end of January - ahead of a planned shutdown at Murco refinery this February.

Successful completion of the CCNSG course gives the participant a safety pass which is required before being able to work on any site. Nine local jobs have previously been secured by local people as a direct result of CCNSG courses run by Launch Learning.

The course normally costs £150, but is funded by Launch as part of their commitment to eliminate barriers to people gaining employment in their local community.
