A local councillor is seeking more progress on the installation of new shelters in areas of Tenby such as the North Beach.

Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas told her colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council that she would like a representative from Pembrokeshire County Council to take part in a walkabout of the resort to see where extra shelters were required.

"The county council keep promising to replace the shelters we've lost in town over the last few years, but still nothing has been done," she said.

"People need somewhere to shelter in the town, especially with the adverse weather we've been continually having. I'd really like someone from the county council to come and a have a look," added Clr. Mrs. Thomas.
