To increase the number of qualified football referees, Pembrokeshire Football Referees' Society will be running a course for new referees for the second time this season.

Speaking to Observer Sport, spokesman Brian Hawkins said: "More football referees are wanted urgently in Pembrokeshire and we have decided to organise another course to train new football referees at Neyland Athletic Club, Neyland.

"The Pembrokeshire League will pay all the costs for the course, which will start within next three weeks. Depending upon number of sessions per week, the course can last up to four weeks. As soon as the numbers attending the course have been ascertained, the frequency of the sessions will be agreed with the course tutor Pedr Mcmullen.
