A huge one owner collection of over 400 large scale model cars forms part of the entry for the classic transport sale in Carmarthen now being finalised.
The auction takes place on May 20, and auctioneers Peter Francis report a rapidly growing entry which already includes interesting cars, British motorcycles, some horse drawn vehicles, books, a collection of Goodyear F1 Racing ephemera and other automobilia.
The single large owner collection is primarily of 1/18th scale models, collected during the last 20 years, and the vendor has paid hundreds of pounds for some of the individual models. A number of larger scale models are also included, particularly two pre-war racing cars which were shop display models, expected to fetch in excess of £500 each.
The whole collection is hoped to realise over £10,000 and there is something for every pocket and taste.
Final entries for the sale close on April 25.
