In a hard fought A team match, it was Narberth who emerged with the win. Despite some good work in defence from Tavernspite, Narberth dominated the possession and were rewarded with a goal for Ronan Griffiths and a hat-trick for Jordan Howell. Tavernspite looked dangerous on the break and were unlucky not to get a consolation score in a goal-line scramble at the end. The two B teams were well matched in skill, if not in size, as a young Tavernspite team competed well against a larger Narberth outfit. Early possession favoured Narberth. However, Tavernspite battled hard and deserved their equaliser late on. Coach Owen said after the game: "Matches like this help the development of the younger players and the future looks bright for both schools."

With Christmas fast approaching, it was clear that the Tavernspite A team were not in a very festive mood, finding the hoop 16 times. Nicole Elsdon impressed for the home team on debut. However, after the match, coach Emmanuel was unable to pick out a player-of-the-match, saying: "It was a team performance, with everyone playing well." The B team match was much more even, with the two sides competing well for the ball. With the final score reading six-a-piece, both teams can feel proud of a well-earned draw.

A well-drilled Tavernspite team took the spoils in this encounter. However, the game was closer than the game suggests. The physicality of forwards Ryan Powell and Richard Morris cancelled each other out, and half-backs Jordan Howell and James Rees were both keen to exploit the blind-pside. The Tavernspite tries came from Daniel Hughes, Harry Jones, Ryan Powell and two from the impressive Liam Morgan. However, Narberth refused to lie down and a late breakaway try from Liam Fenge meant that they left with their heads held high. In wet conditions, the ball handling from both teams was superb, ensuring that the large crowd went home thoroughly entertained. After the game, coach Harris commented on his team's performance, saying: "We played hard and showed a lot of potential. With a bit more work in training, I am sure that we will improve a great deal." In general, he seemed happy to have had an afternoon out of the classroom.
