Miss Pembrokeshire was on hand to officially open Oakwood Theme Park to the public for the 2011 season at the weekend.
Beauty therapy student Hannah Snape, 18, who won the title back in February, cut the ribbon alongside Park director Andy Hygate and two of the Park's mascots before welcoming the first visitors through the gates.
She then joined Andy to sample some of Oakwood's most popular rides, including the wooden coaster Megafobia, Bounce, Speed and Drenched.
"It's great to finally get the new season underway and we were really lucky to have such fantastic weather over the first weekend," said Andy.
"It was great that Hannah agreed to help us with the opening ceremony and she seemed to thoroughly enjoy going on lots of the rides afterwards," he added
As well as winning the title of Miss Pembrokeshire, Hannah has also helped to raise money for the children's cancer charity, The Joshua Foundation.
Among the Park's new features for this year are late-night opening in August, an amazing new Wild West Diving Show for the summer and new water cannons for Drenched which allow onlookers to give ride-goers an extra soaking!
Set in 80 acres of spectacular Pembrokeshire countryside, Oakwood is one of the UK's leading theme parks with more than 30 exhilarating attractions; including four world class rides to enjoy.
Hannah, who is from Milford Haven, will go on to represent the county in the Miss Wales Grand Final at St. David's Hall in Cardiff on Saturday, July 2. The winner will represent Wales at Miss World.
Footnote: Pembrokeshire people can vote for Hannah before July 1 either by calling 0901 293 7937 and adding 49 for HANNAH SNAPE or texting HANNAH SNAPE TO 81118.
