Greenhill School pupil Miranda Davies is probably better known locally for her running, but her skills on the athletic track have brought her success in another event. Miranda, of Knowling Mead, has caught the eye of British walk team coach, Martin Bell, and her success this year already includes gold at the Welsh Championships in an event that she only took up at the start of the track season. She now trains on a regular basis under coach Martin, along with three others from South Wales, at Swansea's new Indoor Arena. Miranda is now seen as one of Wales' top junior walker prospects.
