A minibus owned and operated by Pembrokeshire County Council was involved in a road accident on Friday afternoon.

The collision with a Peugeot 206 occurred near Stephen's Green, Milton.

On board the 16-seater minibus were seven adults with learning disabilities who were being driven home from the Avenue Social Activity Centre in Tenby, accompanied by two council employees.

One person aboard the minibus suffered a dislocated knee and was kept in hospital. Five were treated at the scene by paramedics, while three others were discharged from hospital after treatment.

The driver of the car also suffered injuries and was detained in hospital.
