Milford Haven Round Table recently extended a warm welcome to two members of The Paul Sartori Foundation team, bringing together local voices, shared purpose and meaningful conversation in a relaxed setting.
Held on March 11 at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Milford Haven, the evening meeting brought together 19 Round Table members, alongside Paul Sartori team members Rosie-Faye Hart, Community Relationship Officer, and Mandy Jones, Future Care Planning Officer.
Mandy and Rosie-Faye delivered an engaging and informative talk. Mandy spoke about Future Care Planning, highlighting the importance of having conversations early and putting plans in place. She covered key areas including Power of Attorney and Future Care Plans, helping to demystify what can often feel like a complex subject.
Rosie-Faye spoke about the impact community fundraisers have on the charity and how grateful the charity is to have groups like the Round Table supporting its work year-round.
The group responded warmly, showing genuine interest and appreciation for the work of the Foundation.
In a generous gesture of support, Milford Haven Round Table donated £250 on the day, a contribution that will help continue the charity’s vital work supporting people with life-limiting illness across Pembrokeshire.
The connection made during the evening has already led to further opportunities to raise awareness. Following the presentation, Mandy was invited by Adrian Cook, Engagement Officer at South Hook LNG, to deliver a session for their team.
After attending the Round Table meeting, he shared his praise, noting that Mandy gave an excellent and engaging presentation and highlighting the value it could bring to their upcoming Wellbeing Day.
The evening was a great example of how community groups and local organisations can come together to support an important cause, spark conversations and open the door to future collaboration.
