The charity open day at Milford Haven Fire Station planned for Saturday (August 29) has been called off, due to the poor weather predicted.

“Unfortunately, due to the poor weather forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Open Day at Milford Haven Fire Station,” said a spokesperson for the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

“We would like to sincerely thank all the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes. These will now be included in the Haverfordwest Fire Station Open Day on Saturday, September 6.

“We apologise for any disappointment this may cause and greatly appreciate the continued support of our community.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
