Neyland Ladies Choir took part in the Midsummer Christmas concert at St. Clement’s Church last Friday where the ladies shared the stage with the Cleddau Chamber Orchestra.

Warming up with a cup of the obligatory mulled wine whilst watching the Morris Dancers was a strange experience in the middle of June, but once the Orchestra got under way with a Christmas medley it started to feel like everyone was in the festive mood.

Under the direction of Lynne Kelleher and accompanied by Miranda Davies, the choir performed The Carol of The Drum, Noel, and Christmas in Three Minutes. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Neyland Ladies Choir is hoping that there may be some interest from any local female voices now that the ladies are back performing and a warm welcome is extended for anyone interested to go along to the next rehearsal on Wednesday evening, June 29 between 7 and 9 pm at the Mosaic Cafe at the back of Bethesda Baptist Chapel or the following Wednesdays until the end of term.

Now is an ideal time to go along and have a go while the choir is learning new pieces. No audition is necessary; just come along and even bring a friend to enjoy an evening singing together!
