The parents of two teenagers killed in an horrific road traffic accident would like to thank everyone in the Whitland community and surrounding areas for their loyalty and support shown during the tragic time and also for taking part in a sponsored walk in memory of Tammy Ann Marie Williams and Jonathan Thomas Owens. The amount raised was £2,471.88, which was donated to the firefighters at Whitland Fire Station who attended the accident last November. A tree will also be planted at the comprehensive school in September in memory of the two children. Tammy was a happy go lucky girl who was full of life. She was young and beautiful and always smiling. Her family called her the dancing queen! She will be sadly missed by all her friends and family and never be forgotten. Jonathan was a very well loved individual, full of life and spirit. He was well-known in the village of Bancyfelin and surrounding areas. Jonathan was a talented young man and would have become a terrific person. He will be and is sadly missed, but his memory will never leave his family and friends. Both families would like to thank everyone who has supported them and sent well wishes.
