The Mayor of Pembroke, Clr. Dennis Evans, and his wife Rita, family and friends of the late Richard Rose and committee members of Pembroke Civic Trust, gathered on the North Quay Walk, Pembroke, to formally cut a ribbon and dedicate a seat in his name at that location.

Richard compiled the fascinating book, entitled ‘Pembroke People,’ which includes every person living in and around Pembroke and Pembroke Dock between the years of about 1790 and 1840. Names and potted histories of each person are listed in alphabetical order, within professions or trades, and it is available from Rosalie Lilwall, 01646 686527, for £45.

A good Christmas present for people with ancestors living in the area during that time.
