The Feast of Simon and St. Jude, on Sunday, October 28, was a memorable day at St. Mary's Church, Pembroke Dock, with confirmation mass and the presentation of St. David's medals.

It was a particularly special occasion for three young children, their parents and family friends as the Rt. Rev. Tony Burns, Bishop of Menevia, confirmed Daniel Evans, Sinead McDonald and Rebecca Thomas.

This was followed by the presentation of St. Davids medals to Tumbles Pearce and Robert Ridley for lifetime service to St. Mary's Parish.

After the service, everyone went to the church hall for a splendid buffet lunch organised by Marjorie Doyle and Gina Mines - a very enjoyable and successful day.
