LOCAL man Peter Coughlin and three colleagues from Aramark will be experiencing the highs and lows of Megafobia wooden roller coaster at Oakwood Park when they endeavour to stay on the ride continuously for seven hours in a bid to raise £3,000 for charity. As soon as the park opens at 10 am tomorrow (Saturday), Peter, who works for Aramark at RF Brooks and three other Aramark colleagues, will be taking their seats for the first of many turns around the 2,956 ft track, reaching speeds of 48 mph and experiencing drops of 86 feet. It is their intention to remain on the roller coaster (toilet breaks permitted) until the park closes at 5 pm. Peter, who is a member of the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain, is raising the money jointly for the Boys Brigade and Hospitality Action, the hospitality industry's benevolent charity.
