The cheque represented the Inner Wheel Club's 'share' of the proceeds for the Annual Mediaeval Fayre held at Manorbier Castle last summer, and was in recognition of the 1,000s of Welsh cakes that the ladies of the Inner Wheel had cooked at the event,
The presentation, as is the custom, took place at the Inner Wheel Club's annual dinner held recently at the Fourcroft Hotel, and president Don said in his address that he was delighted that the two clubs continued to work so closely together and that the Rotary Club was extremely grateful for all the support that they received from the ladies of the Inner Wheel.
President Toni, in turn, sincerely thanked the Rotary Club for the cheque, which the Inner Wheel would use to support its many charitable commitments.
