Both Narberth and Whitland Town Council have lady mayors this year and both attended Saturday's local derby when the two Division One West teams from the respective towns met at the Parc Llwyn-Ty-Gwyn ground.
Councillors Diane Evans, of Whitland, and Suzanne Radford-Smith, of Narberth, keep in touch on a regular basis and decided to attend the Christmas local derby between Whitland and Narberth.
They sat together in the stand wearing their respective chains of office and their decision to watch the match was much appreciated by the supporters of both teams.
