Mayor of Pembroke, Clr. Mel Phillips, has launched a DVD all about being first citizen.

It's called 'The Idiot's Guide to Mayoral Etiquette' and is for sale, with proceeds going to her charity of the year.

Said Clr. Phillips: "I soon became aware when I took up my appointment that there was a lot of protocol involved.

"Nobody teaches you how to be a Mayor, so I have put together my tips and advice which I have gleaned during my term of office."

The DVD is £5, with all proceeds to go to the RNLI, Clr. Phillips's chosen charity for the year.

Any town clerk or town councillor (in the county) wanting to purchase one, can contact Pembroke town clerk and give their name and address and Clr. Phillips shall send one on to them.
