Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, paid a visit to the town’s Cancer Research UK shop on Friday for the launch of their Stand Up To Cancer campaign. A cake stall and bucket collection was held which raised just over £120 for the appeal. Many of the cakes had been baked by volunteer Maureen Lowe MBE, with ingredients kindly donated by local businesses and friends. The event was also an opportunity to introduce new shop manager, Kev Webb. The shop is also appealing for volunteers and anyone who would like to give up a few spare hours is asked to call into the shop in Tudor Square.
