A documentary series following the men and women who volunteer to help those in trouble on the water, using footage filmed by the crew's helmet and boat cameras, is to feature some of Tenby's RNLI and Coastguard crew.

ITV's 'Mayday Mayday' follows incidents up and down the British coastline, filmed by RNLI and Coastguard volunteers as they are on active duties, with the footage forming the basis of the stories as the viewers experience what they see as the crew's attend emergency call-outs 24/7.

The episode involving Tenby's RNLI and Coastguard teams will feature footage of the rescue of an 18-year-old girl who fell 80 feet down a steep cliff on the Giltar back in August.

The seventh episode of Mayday Mayday, which is presented by Craig Doyle, will be screened on ITV London, on Tuesday, at 7.30 pm, and on ITV Wales, on Friday October 28, at 11.05 pm.

It's the latest television production to feature Tenby, with recent episodes of Don't Tell The Bride, Grand Designs and Ironman Wales featuring the resort and the BBC dedicating a whole series, Tenby 24/7, to the seaside town.
