WHEN Jo Griffiths applied to go on the hit TV show Masterchef, she had no idea that it would be the kickstart of her new career!
Jo beat 15,000 other contestants to win a place in this year's series, which meant a trip to London to take part in the tough cookery tests, live in front of John Torrode, Greg Wallace, TV crew and cameras!
"It was terrifying" said Jo, originally from Tenby, now living in Robeston Wathen.
"I had never done anything like it before and I had no idea what to expect. It was a truly amazing experience and it confirmed to me that my passion and future was in food and catering. On returning home, I decided that the time was right to launch my new business - providing fine dining for small parties, events and special occasions."
Jo's Masterchef experience was broadcast on BBC1 in February and since then she has been busy working on the development of her new business.
Bon Appétit provides a bespoke range of dishes from simple canapés, full course meals, buffets and desserts. Menus are designed around the customers' needs, to suit their event or party and importantly their budget.
