Recently at the YFC Hall, Cresselly, senior citizen residents of Cresselly, Jeffreyston, Martletwy and the surrounding area were invited to a sherry and mince pie afternoon in the run-up to the festive season.
Everyone had a lovely time playing bingo, with many going home with some super prizes, and members of the club are extremely grateful to those for coming to support the event and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
If there are senior citizens who regrettably did not receive an invite this year, please contact Miss Lucy Evans on 01646 651200 or Megan Jenkins on 01646 651684 to make sure that you will be on the list of invites for next year, so you don't miss out.
The festive season is a busy time for the members of Martletwy YFC. At the beginning of the month, the annual Christmas whist drive was held at the hall under the capable supervision of Mr. Steve Hughes. Members are now looking forward to the traditional carol singing nights which have been organised for December 21 and 22, raising money for charity. Also, a Christmas party has been organised for Saturday, December 27, at the Snooty Fox Inn, Martletwy, at 8 pm. Everyone is welcome.
