The wedding took place on December 12, at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, of Daryl Terence Morgan and Lucie Jane Mabbett.

The groom, who works for TP Hughes in Tenby, is the son of Mr. T. Morgan and Mrs. M. Morgan, of Sandyhill Park, Saundersfoot, while the bride, who works at the Tenby Observer, is the daughter of Mr. V. P. Mabbett, of Tyssul Court, Tenby, and Mrs. J. V. Mabbett, of Sardis, Saundersfoot.

Given away by her eldest son, Ashley Bonser, the bride wore a designer wedding dress with fitted burgundy bodice and ivory chiffon full skirt with train, along with a crystal tiara.

Her bouquet was made of red roses with pearls and inset crystals.

Maid-of-honour Anne Mabbett (bride's sister) and bridesmaid Molly Bonser (bride's daughter) wore designer dresses made of burgundy colour with beaded crystals, and carried bouquets of ivory roses with inset crystals.

Flower girls Emily, Holly and Sian Morgan wore ivory full-skirted dresses, and carried baskets of cream and red rose petals.

Best man was Rob Evans, a longstanding friend of the groom since schooldays.

Ushers were Ashley and Wesley Bonser (bride's sons) and Dan Robbins (bride's daughter's boyfriend).

The wedding ceremony was conducted by the Haverfordwest registrar, with musical accompaniment being provided by harpist Georgina Cornock.

The wedding breakfast reception held at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, featured a Christmas theme with a five-course menu.

The newly-weds have just returned from a two-week honeymoon to the Riviera Maya region of Mexico, and have made their home in Saundersfoot.
