The wedding took place recently at St. Mary's Church, Pembroke, of Mr. Damien Murphy and Miss Lisa Williams. The groom, a teacher, is the son of Gerry Marie Murphy, of Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, while the bride, an occupational therapist, is the daughter of Sue and David Hutchings, of Holyland Road, Pembroke. Given away by her father, the bride wore on ivory halterneck fishtail dress, while the bridesmaids Emma Parry, Kate Walker and Sinead Birmingham (bride's best friends), wore grape coloured strapless satin gowns with fishtails. Best man was Thomas Marshall (best friend), while the groomsmen were Gary and Brian Murphy (groom's brothers), Mark Williams and Jarlath Birmingham (friends). The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Roger Jones and Father John. Organist was Jan Llewellyn and soloists were Alice Reedwell and John and Denise Carroll. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast and evening reception was held at The Beggars Reach Hotel, Burton. The couple, who are making their future home in Cardiff, are spending their honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
