Married at the Old Blacksmith Shop, Gretna Green, recently, were Graham Hughes and Cheryl Ann Dyer.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Bertha Hughes and the late Mr. Howard Hughes, of Starr Gorse Farm, Pleasant Valley, while the bride is the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Morgan and the late Mr. Louis Morgan, of Orchard Cottage, Cross Ash, Abergavenny.
For the ceremony, the bride wore a threequarter-length navy dress and jacket edged with beads and a matching navy hat.
The service was conducted by Rev. Isabel Pennington and the witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. J. Jones from Pentre Halkyn, North Wales, visitors to the Old Blacksmith shop.
The couple will be celebrating their marriage with a buffet reception at the RAOB Club, Kilgetty, tomorrow (Saturday).
The couple will be making their home in Pleasant Valley.
