The wedding took place recently, at St. Mary's RC Church, Pembroke Dock, of Mr. Christopher James Lloyd and Miss Sarah Louise Hughes.

The groom, a salesman, is the eldest son of Bernard and Monica Lloyd, of Carr Terrace, Pennar, Pembroke Dock, while the bride, a receptionist, is the eldest daughter of Sandra Hughes, of Pembroke Dock, and Kevin Hughes, of Haverfordwest.

Given away by her brother, Richard Hughes, the bride wore a white Venus strapless gown in duchess satin, overlaid with delicate embroidered lace, together with an ivory veil and beautiful silver diamante tiara supplied by The Bridal Collection in Pembroke Dock.

Attending the bride as bridesmaids were Carys Lloyd (daughter), Joanna Jones, Cheryl Hughes, Alison Hughes (bride's sisters), Collette Davis, Neisha Bendall, Cerys Lloyd, Bethan Lewis (groom's nieces) and Kara Hammer (bride's niece). Page boys were Callum Jones, Dylan Jones and Taylan Jones (bride's nephews).

Best man was John Lloyd (brother), while ushers were Sean Davis, Christopher Bendall and Craig Bendall.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Beggars Reach Hotel, Burton.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Cyprus, and will be making their future home in Wavell Crescent, Pembroke Dock.
