Mr. D. J. Robins

Miss A. M. Harvey

Pictured following their wedding at Peckforton Castle, on August 8, are Mr. David James Robins and Miss Abigail Marie Harvey.

The groom, a firefighter in the RAF, is the eldest son of David and Paula Robins, of Hill Breeze, Narberth Road, Tenby, while the bride, an aircraft technician in the RAF, is the only daughter of Kevin and Julia Harvey, of Hinstock, Shropshire.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace over empire satin gown with fitted bodice, diamond bow and ivory lace train.

Bridesmaids were Shannon Robins (groom's sister) and Jo Hardy (bride's friend), who wore aubergine satin strapless dresses.

Best man was Jonathan Pike (groom's friend), while ushers were Michael and Daniel Robins (groom's brothers) and Ben, Dean and Jason Harvey (bride's brothers).

The service was conducted by Rev. Davies, while organist was Ann Baldrock. The wedding rings were delivered to the best man by an owl, followed by an RAF fly-by by Puma helicopters.

A wedding reception was also held at Peckforton Castle, during which the couple used a sword to cut a cake made from cheese.

The couple are making their home in Cyprus.
