A honeymoon in the Lake District followed the recent wedding at Molleston Chapel, Molleston, of Mr. Hugh Bowen and Miss Karen Astbury.

The groom, a services manager with Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is the eldest son of Pauline Bowen and the late Peter Bowen, of Mount Pleasant, Penffordd, Narberth.

The bride, a support worker with Pembrokeshire County Council, is the only daughter of Thomas Astbury and the late Ivy Astbury, of Woodview Cottages, Jeffreyston.

Given away by her son-in-law Robert Toulouse, the bride wore an off-the-shoulder Royal blue silk gown with matching bolero. She carried a bouquet of cream roses.

Bridesmaids were Tara Worrall (friend) and Kelsea Toulouse (granddaughter). Flower girl was Chantelle Harvey (friend's daughter).

Best man was Adam Bowen, while James Toulouse acted as usher.

The service was conducted by Rev. Roger Hart. The couple are making their home at Penffordd.
