Married at Sardis Chapel, Kilgetty recently were Mr. Antony James and Miss Julie Thomas.
The groom, a British Gas heating engineer, is the son of Jane Elliott, of 96 Catalina Avenue and the late Billy James, formerly of Pembroke Dock, while the bride, a veterinary nurse/receptionist at Kingston House Vets, Pembroke is the daughter of Bill and Gill Thomas, of Herons Mill, Ferry Road, Pennar, Pembroke Dock.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a dupion silk gown with embroidered, fitted bodice and hem with train. A crystal encrusted, cathedral veil was held in place by a crystal tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses, freesias, gypsophila and blue delphiniums.
She was attended by Felicity Roblin, bride and groom's friend, Syliva Bates, bride's cousin and Rebecca Blair, bride's niece, who wore dupion silk cornflower blue fitted bodices with fitted full length skirts and blue and pearl crystal tiaras.
Flowergirls were Rachelle and Natasha Blair, bride's nieces who wore white three-quarter length organza dresses with blue rosebuds and matching cornflower sashes. They also had a blue and white crystal flower in their hair.
Best man was Huw Roblin, bride and groom's friend and the ushers were Robin Smith, Robert Hart, Wayne Davies, Paul Howlett and Nick Jenkins.
The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Donald Davies and the organist was Valerie Evans.
A reception was held at the Begelly Arms. where the groom's sister and brother-in-law had decorated the room.
The couple, who spent their honeymoon in Corfu, are making their home in Law Street, Pembroke Dock.
