The wedding took place on September 7 at St. Julian’s Church, Tenby Harbour, of Mr. Darrell Davies and Miss Polly Williams.
The groom, a retired logistics co-ordinator, is the son of the late Tom and Gloria Davies, while the bride, who is employed in retail management, is the daughter of Joan and Gron Williams, of Bridgnorth.
Given away by her father, the bride looked beautiful in a white, full-length dress with a sparkling embellished top.
Attending her were two bridesmaids, daughter Heidi Devey and granddaughter Millie Blythe, who wore dusky pink dresses with pearl embellishment. Ring bearer was dog Coco.
Best man was the groom’s son, Mr. Wayne Davies, and usher was Mr. Jack Davies.
Following the ceremony, which was conducted by Canon Andrew Grace and Rev. Nigel Griffin, with Dr. John Harrison as organist, a wonderful reception was held at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby.
Later, the couple, who will continue to make their home in Tenby, left for a honeymoon cruising the Mediterranean.
