The condition of Tenby's Market Hall needs improving urgently local councillors have said this week.

Speaking at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Trisha Putwain said that she'd heard from several stall holders and traders who were not happy about the state of the walls in the market.

Her colleague Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown agreed and said that the hall looked a bit 'grubby' and needed a a lot of work.

She also said that improvements were needed to the steps on the access of the market on the Upper Frog Street side.

"I think that traders have spoken the market inspector about their concerns, but nothing was done, so maybe we can approach him through the council to have a chat, as the market does need doing up a bit as it's a bit tatty," added Clr. Mrs. Brown.
