After a successful Christmas season of indoor arts and craft and produce markets, Tenby Events and Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions would like to thank local residents, businesses and visitors to Tenby for their support last November. All funds raised will be donated to local charities in particular to supporting youth initiatives. A special 'thank you' also goes to Texaco for being the main sponsor of the market series. Cherylee Barker, Tenby Events co-ordinator, said: "Through the joint effort of both companies we have managed to add something new to Tenby around the Winter Carnival time by giving the visitor and local residents an all-round events experience in the run-up to Christmas. Also, at least half of the funds raised each year will be used to support youth initiatives around the carnival so as to encourage youth and family participation."
