A Clunderwen man was fined this week after he indecently exposed himself during a massage at a health salon.

Forty-eight-year-old Michael David Charters, of The Villa, Rosebush, admitted the offence when he appeared in court.

The court heard that Charters stripped down to a navy blue velvet thong before exposing himself to one of the salon's qualified therapists during a massage at the premises.

Crown prosecutor, Mr. Tim Roberts said that the therapist concerned was "horrified" and had "felt physically sick' by the incident.

She told Charters that the salon concerned was "bona fide and professional" and she was a "professional therapist", Mr. Roberts added.

Defence solicitor, Miss Helen Hodges told the bench that Charters was "very ashamed at the matter" and wished to apologise to anyone upset by the incident.

Charters, a self-employed brick layer who is currently on sick leave, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
