Pembrokeshire residents will shortly receive their electoral registration forms through the post. This is to ensure the electoral register is as up-to-date as possible ahead of next year's European Parliament elections.
Householders in the county are being encouraged to complete their registration form and return it promptly to ensure they can have their say.
European Parliament elections were last contested in 2009.
Residents who don't receive their form can contact the Pembrokeshire County Council elections team on 01437 775844, email [email protected]">[email protected] or print one off at http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk">www.aboutmyvote.co.uk
The Electoral Registration Officer, Mr. Bryn Parry-Jones, said: "Registering to vote is quick and simple.
"All you have to do is update the annual canvass form with details of everyone who lives in the household and is eligible to vote and return it to us as soon as possible. It's your vote, don't lose it."
