Macmillan committee and helpers say ‘thank you’

The Tenby and Saundersfoot Macmillan Cancer Support committee and helpers met at the Amroth Arms recently for a fantastic Christmas lunch. 

They had decided to use the Amroth Arms for their get-together, as Roger and Jane Harries had done so much throughout the year to help the cause, but also because they knew they could depend on a really good meal.

This was an opportunity to reflect on the previous year and to say a sincere thank you to everyone who has helped the committee to raise over £20,000 since January. 

Members are always so grateful to their supporters who continue to buy raffle tickets, attend events and don't walk past the collecting boxes on Flag Days. To all of you, they thank you for your generosity and support. 

It was also an opportunity to thank the committee members and in particular their helpers, who can always be relied upon to give their time and energy in helping at events throughout the year. All volunteers and supporters are wished a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
